no work for me today! i am surprised the school system i teach in is closed, most of the ones around us are just on a 2 hour delay.
going to the MALL asap to get in some shopping that I was going to have to wait until the weekend to do... yay
Morning! I'm so glad I don't have to go anywhere today. I am feeling better though, so that means the house needs a good cleaning. blech.
Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
Good morning. I'm working from home today. I'm so glad that I have the ability to do that. Our weather hotline said offices would open at 10, but I'm just going to stick around here. Our new dining set is supposed to be delivered this afternoon and this will give me the opportunity to get my desktop ready to go bye-bye. I'm all caught up and my boss is on vacation, so unless something comes up, it should be a nice slow day.
I'm so glad we decided to take Bells Ferry home last night. I heard 575 was a nightmare. It took us twice as long to get home than usual, but at least we made it. I found out that around 8, Towne Lake and Eagle Drive (roads we have to use to get home from one way or another) were closed. We were busy getting furniture moved around and cleaning my curio, so we had no idea it was that bad when we decided to go get some dinner around 9. Yeah... we slid twice and didn't get 3 houses up the street before we turned around! Last night's dinner was scrambled eggs, lol.

Morning!
It took me an hour +20 to get ON the %$^& freeway this morning.
and then 20 min to get in to downtown. Farking suburbs traffic.
Last night I left work 30min early (boss approved) and I got home at 6PM. And yes, there was massive ice by 10PM. My parents were returning from WDW last night and got stuck downtown. My sister was going to pick them up but she's in S. Cherokee and was not about to drive i nthat @ 9PM!!!
