I know Alicia usually does this but I haven't seen one in a while & I am super curious how you all are doing! I know there are some newbies out there and others who are on the doorstep to meeting there babes...
How is everyone feeling? Check in please!!!
Re: Pregnant Mommas
I'm good!! Tomorrow is the last day at work, YIPPEE!!!! Had an appointment on Tuesday and I've started dilating and effacing and apparently, the baby "isn't going to get any lower until it is time to push," according to my midwife. Holy crap!!!!
My stuffy nose is starting to go away, which is awesome. Baby is super active, pretty sure he is trying to kick his way out. Just waiting now!!
I'm sorry Carolyn!! I have it too. It is a pain but you will get used to it. Hopefully you can control it with diet! That's what I've been able to do and it hasn't been too bad. I hate having to really think about what I'm going to eat, but planning ahead helps for sure. The biggest issue I've had is eating more protein. I have had issues with eating anything protein - meat, eggs, cheese, all of which I normally really like! - my entire pregnancy, so that's tough but I've learned to balance it out as best I can. Good luck!!! *hugs*!!
I also finally have a belly! And in the past few days I've really started feeling the baby moving around. We have the big u/s tonight, but we're not going to find out the gender. Everything is going smoothly so far, although it's getting hard to find a comfortable sleeping position since I'm usually a belly sleeper.
Right after Christmas we're going to start painting the nursery, pick out furniture, and register!
So close, Melissa! My gosh, I'm so excited for you! Sorry about the GD 8-23, I with you the best of luck with controlling it without too much trouble.
I'm doing really well! I had my anatomy scan two weeks ago and the baby looked good. (not finding out the sex, though!) I'm halfway there as of last weekend! I am getting pretty big but I feel fine. And the baby's been moving around quite a bit in the past two weeks...maybe it'll start to feel more real!
It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!
My pregnancy after Infertility Blog
Our baby girl was born on April 27, 2011!
8-23 sorry you are having to deal with GD. Hopefully you will be able to keep it in check with diet.
Glad to hear everyone is doing good other wise. Thanks for checking in!
