Good news!
So I just got of the phone with the other drivers insurance company, and they are accepting liability on the accident. It was very obvious that she was at fault, but I have just heard so many horror stories that I was worried it would turn into a battle.
So I now get to go buy a new car seat. I was told by my insurance company that they would buy whatever one they felt was good, but with the other ins company I am able to buy whatever I want that is comparable. So ladies..... tell me which seats are great these days! We bought the one she had almost 2 years ago. We paid around $200 for hers, so that what I plan to spend now.

Ditto Alicia! DS (almost 3) is in a Britax Frontier; it's awesome. DD (10 months) is in DS's old Britax Marathon.

Looking at it more, it just seems that the 85 is just the updated version of it... although BRU still has the regular one on their site for more than the newer one at Amazon.
I think I'll be ordering from Amazon!
