I'm curious how many people here have tattoos...
How many?
What are they?
Where are they?
Why (if it has significance)?
I have none. I've wanted tattoos since I was about 14 but I never got any. Been thinking about the same couple designs for a few years and am considering making the leap soonish...
Re: Poll!
Getting a portrait of RR? jk What would you get or do to this one out of curiosity?
I'm torn on which to do first b/c I'm partial to 'old school/american' style but the 2nd idea is not as suited towards that style... wondering if I should skip it all together... (if I was to do both eventually). My other thing is that I have a friend who's used this guy who is amazing, but he's in Canada, and I don't know when I'll be there next or if he'll be able to take me. Maybe I should start sweet talking him now...
lol
Me to!
Although if I ever did get one I would probably get something very small on my right hip so you wouldn't be able to see it unless I was wearing a bathing suit.
Technically I have three. If you count the order they were done I have 5.
The first one I got was my ankle and it says my name, my grandpa brought a stamp back from Asia that said my name and have wanted it as a tattoo since I got it. Then I did the two girls on my back. I saw them on a shirt at a club one night and thought it would be a cool tattoo. It was not until about 2 years later I got the gate done between the girls to make it one large tattoo. The last one I got was on my wrist, and it is for the charity that I donate to each year that helps families with children with cancer it is their symbol.
Here they are
Ankle
Wrist
Back
I have two. First is a black butterfly on my lower front right hip. My mom took me for my 18th birthday and I still like it. I'm afraid it's going to balloon when I get preggers.
The second is of a very colorful Robin (for my mom, whose name is Robyn) on my right rib cage. I just love it, and I think I always will. I can't post pictures on here at work so i'll try to remember and do it when I get home today.
I don't have any. And that probably DOES surprise people considering I'm a weirdo!! haha.
I got a lot of piercings in high school and I debated on getting a tattoo, but I never found one that meant enough to me to actually get it permanently inked into my skin. Then, my freshman year in college, I found the one I wanted. It was the Celtic symbol for inner strength, but the only place it would look right would be the lower back... the tramp stamp. So I went back and forth about it and eventually grew out of the idea of it, so I never got it. I'm glad now.
This!! But here is a shocker for you I used to have nipple piercings... Now how many of you are giving me the side eye!!!
LOL Pam you are such a wild child!!
If I get my current one worked on I'll probably just add more flowers, I wanted way more originally and the artist was just like "well you can always add more, you can't take them away if you have too many..." so I just have the one little line of flowers. I wanted it to be like a whole bunch swirling around like they were blowing in the wind! So we'll see what happens. If I get a different one it'll say "It's not a secret, why do you keep it" with some cool designy ***. I was thinking on the inner wrists, which is a little bold... I have no idea where my career is going really so I don't know if it'll ever be an issue, but I know kindergarten teachers who have wrist tattoos and they've never had problems... so who knows. Maybe I'll get both
My appt is just for a consultation, so we'll see what happens!!
Pam is kinky!
Wohoo Pam! Didn't expect that from you!
I got my eyebrow pierced when I was 15, but it only lasted a year b/c my body rejected it (and I think it didn't take very good care of it). My parents were surprisingly cool about it.
