I love my sister, but it's hard to understand her...
She worked all summer out east, made great money, got caught up on bills, and now is back out west, and has no money for Christmas gifts. Fine it's not a requirement or anything, but please don't send me a list of things you'd like when you have no intention of exchanging (i've sent her gift)
Her snowboard may have been stolen out of the back of her truck (the cab doesn't lock hasn't since she got it, but hey let's still leave stuff back there) while she drove cross country 2 boxes fell out (I have no idea how I don't want to know) she lost her new snowboard bindings... She works as a bartender 2X a week and is looking for other work, but no luck so far..
Its so frustrating, because I can't help but feel for her, BUT SHE CHOOSES this life and wonders why things always happen to her, she is so careless and just lives on by a shoestring.
Thanks for reading
Re: Need to vent about my sister
I am seriously reading this right, she sent you a list?!?!
I know we're in a similar boat with siblings, sometimes I wonder how two people so different can come from the same parents.
Just let it out, we're here for you and I know like me it bothers you especially when it comes to how your parents get treated. JT tells me I need to get to the point where I let him fall on face but it's hard. It's so frustrating sometimes!
Books read in 2011: 111

my read shelf:
Yup I asked her if she had any ideas for what she'd like for Christmas, I went out to Bare Essentials and got her the make up she wanted, and she never said she wasn't able to exchange gifts...
DH tells me the same thing, to just but out and let her be. I got a DVD for my Dad that he wanted from her and that's it, I told her she can mail me the $20 w/n the next 3 months... I'm done (I hope I mean it this time)
When I was unemployed I know my parents didn't worry as much about me as they worry about her... I know my Mom worries about her, but she's 28 w/ a college education... COME ON
ugh...
you're way too generous to get a gift for your parents from her!!
