HT, you have a week left?!
How did THAT happen?! How are you feeling?

Re: HT, you have a week left?!
I'm very uncomfortable. Sometimes I sit here thinking, "I want this to happen NOW NOW NOW," and other times I'm like, "are you crazy? Enjoy your no-baby time while it lasts."
I've been at 3cm for about 2 weeks. Due date is the 23rd, already have a post-due-date appointment set for the 29th. Yesterday my doctor mentioned January 3 as a possible induction date. The change to a new year makes that seem much further away than it actually is.
The 1 inch of snow that has fallen in the city today is wreaking havoc with the traffic, so with my luck, my water should break any time now.
Jenny thinks my stomach is a personalized body pillow that I've grown just for her use, so she'll be sad to see it go.
How are your hives? Did they calm down/go away?
I hope the kid shows up in time to be a tax deduction for this year.

They have receded to just one small-ish patch on my stomach, THANK GOD. I think I would've snapped by now if they hadn't.
Thanks for your thoughts, guyth! I assume I will go with the usual plan of notifying someone by email or text when the time comes. It's super lame o fme, but I'm kind of excited about that part.

I was too, but mine went so fast that I didn't really send any updates. I wish the same for you. Quick and relatively painless is the way to go.
Yes. Do this. Don't do 18 hrs of labor followed by a c-section. That's definitely not the way to go.
I recommend a trip to get your hair/nails/toes did ASAP. You probably won't have a lot of chances to do that in the near future, and you'll feel somewhat more presentable in the early days when you aren't showering or sleeping.
You've got my toilet paper for a quick and easy delivery too.
