Contractor was killed at DH's work site today
I have mentioned that DH is OOT in PA for work - has been almost straight since Nov 4th. He came back for T-giving and a couple weekends.
There was a fatal accident onsite today. A contractor was hit with the bucket on an excavator and trapped against the excavated earth and the bucket. He passed before the ambulance got there. All construction work has stopped and workers sent home until OSHA completes an investigation.
DH and his team will still work, because they don't work in the hole. They work inside getting the control panel to talk to the generators.
So sad, for everyone, but especially the workers family and the poor excavator operator whose knee bumped the controls.
