The theme is Where the Wild Things Are, so I made him this crown as a birthday hat.
And this is one of his birthday presents...

I got some better shots of the cat...
The cool thing about it is every single piece, except for the thread and buttons, which were gifts from my nephew, is recycled. The brown fabric came from a pair of my mom's old pants, and the corduroys I made from mom's old cords. The green turtleneck was part of a sleeve of one of my old sweaters. Even the nose was cut from an old skirt of mine.
I also got him this book & finger puppet set...
He's got so many books about animals and numbers and the alphabet, plus story books and the like... but this one's on color theory and it's the only one like it I've seen.
We might get him another gift or two, but we'll see.
