Yay Friday!
Seeing as I was at work until 8pm last Friday, I decided to use those banked hours and half a vacation day to take today off. I intend on making all the holiday goodies we plan on gifting family and friends, going to the gym, and painting the back room.
The only real plans that we have for this weekend are Christmas dinner with my mom's side of the family on Sunday afternoon, so tomorrow will probably involve a lot of work around the house. If we can figure out this vent thing, hopefully Derek can start laying the floor!
What does everyone have on the go this last weekend before Christmas?

No, seriously, I'm heading up to Ottawa on Sunday on the train (I looove that ride), having dinner with one of my bridesdudes and my family that night and then have a few days of baking ahead of me!

Woohoo! I'm doing a Friday happy dance!
This weekend, I have to finish up DH's Christmas gift, and wrap some of the others that we already have. We have a housewarming party on Sunday, so I'm going to make some coquito (Puerto Rican eggnog) for that. I think we may be going out to dinner tomorrow night to make up for the birthday dinner I missed last week because I was sick. But no matter what we do, I'm just looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow!

Nothing big planned. Probably a Dexter marathon tonight, visiting my friend who just had a baby in November tomorrow, then a neighbors holiday party Sat night.... prob cleaning and relaxing on sunday. Can't wait, ideal weekend.

TGIF! Yay for vacation days Raynes.
Today is a great day! The boys are 5 months old today...Yikes, and this evening DH finally is graduating from Nursing School.
Tomorrow, two graduation parties. One early afternoon for immediate family, and then tomorrow evening is the big party with all of our friends and their families.
Sunday, church and then DH's family Christmas. I also need to find time to get laundry done, and clean. I am sure by the end of the weekend I will have 2 extremely fussy kids on my hands.

I can't remember the last time I was this happy to see a Friday. Good lord, this week has been loooong.
I don't have anything special planned for this weekend. All the baking is done and the gifts are in the mail. I need to get a few groceries for next week before we head home, Jim wants to go to Old Navy and swap the sweater I got him (for the third time) and I'd like to make dog biscuits for SIL's pups.
That's about it really. I'll start making a list of what I want to have to pack to go home, so I don't accidentally wear it.

Morning everyone. My day is kinda off to a crappy start, as I was trying to get into the office over an hour ago, but the subway wasn't running smoothly. Normally it takes me 25-30 minutes door to door, but I had to wait for 3 trains before I could cram my way on one, so it took well over an hour.
This weekend is going to be a busy one. Tonight is B's work party, so we're headed to his boss's house after work. Tomorrow I have to go to a funeral for my old boss's wife, and B is planning to sell his car. Hopefully, he will get a decent amount of money for it. Saturday evening, we're headed to a friend's engagement party, and then on Sunday, we're getting together with SIL, BIL, and our neice for a late Hanukah brunch.
Yayyy! I'm also off for 2 weeks after today (except for a short meeting with a client on Tuesday morning). So excited.
Tonight we're having dinner with V's cousin who I LOVE. We've already decided that we'll eventually ask her to be tootsie's godmother when the time comes.
We'll finally get some time off this weekend... concert season is over! I'm determined to do our decorating this weekend (yes, it's late....) and write our Christmas cards. Hopefully some baking too!
I picked up a groupon for afternoon tea at a nearby hotel so I think we'll do that on Monday. Mmm!

Today is Gibson's last day of school until Jan. 3. I think we'll do some baking and a whole lot of laundry this weekend. Wednesday Russ comes home from a 4 week hitch and I want everything to be perfect when he arrives. I'll be also wrapping the millions of presents I bought for the kids this weekend. I have to meet up with some friends too to drop off cookie dough this weekend.
Yay for Friday! I have a holiday lunch with my work team this afternoon so that should be fun. They're ordering Thai food.. yum! Other than that I'm just gonna try to finish up a couple projects at work then this evening go home and try to get the house cleaned up before the weekend. DH gets his bonus from his job today so tomorrow we are going to finish up Christmas shopping at the mall (which is going to be CRAZY). I want to try to go when the mall opens so it won't be too bad hopefully. After that I'm sure we'll be tired and stressed so I don't have anything planned for tomorrow night. We'll probably just hang out and watch a movie and wrap gifts. Sunday will probably be the usual grocery shopping/laundry day.

Happy Friday ladies! Tonight DH and I are going to my parents house to say goodbye and hang out for a bit before they leave to Mexico for two weeks.
Tomorrow should be rather busy. We have our usual errands to run in the morning. In the evening we're going to dinner with my boss. If that doesn't end too late, we plan to go to the mall to continue our Christmas gift shopping which is still not done.
Sunday we're going over to the IL's for lunch in the afternoon. I'm almost positive we'll have to go shopping to try to finish up whatever we didn't finish the day before.

I'm working all day today and tomorrow (ugh!) but I'm off Sunday, then I get switched to my new shifts on Monday (11am-6pm, Mon to Friday). This weekend is a Christmas party with friends and then relaxing Sunday.
My mom gets here in six days and I can't wait!

Seriously, so glad it's Friday.
Today at work was pretty rough. I had ER duty today and it was so busy. Three overdoses alone.
Tonight is our work Christmas party and I think I'm going to have to go against my 'no drinking at work parties' rule. Can't wait for a few drinks and appetizers.
Tomorrow will be busy. We have our usual groceries and gym things to do and then we are babysitting my niece and nephew at night.
Sunday is Christmas lunch with my Dad's extended family. My Dad is one of ten siblings so we rent a hall and make 2 turkeys. Lots of people.

YAY for Friday...this week was interminable!
Tonight Ed and I are going to try a new restaurant for dinner. I don't have high hopes, but it is new, so we are going to check it out. Tomorrow I am going to get up and get in an early run, then I am going out shopping with my FSIL. Sunday will be laundry, grocery shopping for Christmas stuff, and some baking.
Then I have three days of work next week before vacation!
