french onion soup

http://cookaholicwife.blogspot.com/2010/12/ultimate-french-onion-soup.html

You absolutely must make this. All of you. Even if you don't like onions. Or cheese. Or bread.

I'm not lying when I say I wanted to crawl into the bowl of this soup and just float around. It was unbelievably amazing.

Re: french onion soup

  • Thanks for the post on the sugar cookies with Royal Icing. I've never decorated sugar cookies and have been wondering what would be the best way to decorate them.  I was thinking about it last night before I went to bed.  I've been wanting to ask this question on What's Cooking but I was afraid that I would look like a total a$$.  I'm looking forward to making my cookies this weekend.

  • No problem! They are really time consuming to make, but I think it was worth it in the end. I still need to make my Christmas ones.

You definitely could have posted that on the What's Cooking board. They get tons and tons of repeat questions and they're all still nice about it. But there aren't too many royal icing questions that I've noticed lately.

  • For some reason my comment on the blog wouldn't stick. Balls.

Anyhoo this sounds awesome, I have little french onion soup brown crocks from back in the day that I got at a yard sale, and I might make this tonight!
