1. that right now I am thinking about putting off getting pregnant for another year (I'm already 34) cause:

a. I think I'd want a summer birthday.

b. cause I don't want to be a fat-bellied pregnant bridesmaid.

2. is it wrong that I'm near refusing to work cause it's so close to the holidays?

3. is it wrong that I posted this just to avoid working? I am perefctly aware of how pointless it is.

4. do you have anything you're not sure is wrong or not? keep me entertained.

1a. No, it's up to you when you want to get KU.

1b. No, and the bride will secretly thank you for not making her find a maternity BM dress.

2. Only if you work straight through the holidays like nothing is happening. If you're in a job where you get a Christmas break (like teaching) then you might as well give up. Everyone else already has ;-)

3. Not at all. Polls are fun and entertaining, and you already told us you've basically stopped working anyway.

4. I'm not sure if all the sticks I've peed on are wrong or not. I'm more than 2 weeks late and still getting BFNs. What gives?

a. I think I'd want a summer birthday. No. H had mentioned wanting to start at the beginning of a year. I told him no because if I got pregnant right away, I'd be due in September. I don't want a kid with a fall/winter birthday.

b. cause I don't want to be a fat-bellied pregnant bridesmaid. I highly doubt you'd be a fat-bellied bridesmaid. I think you'll be one of those pregnant women who look like they just shoved a beach ball under the shirt, no other signs of pregnancy what-so-ever, just a bump.

2. is it wrong that I'm near refusing to work cause it's so close to the holidays? No. Slackers unite!

3. is it wrong that I posted this just to avoid working? I am perefctly aware of how pointless it is. I'm having fun responding.

I'm putting it off until I get approved for insurance. DH is unemployed and I'm self-employed, so I'm applying for coverage. *fingers crossed* I've applied for the only insurance in MI that still covers prenatal and delivery. And I'm not handling it, at all. I have a zillion symptoms but I can't get the stupid stick give me the right answer. I'm going crazy! And DH is all over me about taking my vitamins and making sure I eat and it's kind of cute but kind of frustrating because I still don't even know!!!

Is it wrong that I'm so tired that I really really don't want to go to my dad's for Christmas tonight, even though B&SIL are leaving tomorrow night and it's our chance to exchange gifts and spend Christmassy time with them and DN(iece)?

Awwww, but LTB, I love my September b-day! I was born on Labor Day, so my birthday falls a lot of the time during Labor Day weekend, so it's really fun. I get to have a big end of the summer bash for my birthday. :-)

It's not wrong at all to not want to go. If you actually didn't show up?? maybe that MIGHT be wrong. Can you pop in and out quickly? How often do you see B&SIL? Does daddy have an upstairs room that you could head straight to and pass out in?

We see B&SIL all the time. Actually I went Christmas shopping with both of them separately last night. But they are going to Cali for Christmas so tonight is our family shindig at my dad's. Luckily my parents live about 2 miles from my house, so when I'm ready to crash out, DH and I can just come home. I've just been extra-tired lately (another KU symptom).

I don't really want kids but if H REALLY wants them I

a) would NOT want to be pregnant during the summer. I hate being hot and being pregnant during the summer seems EXTRA hot and I've heard its awful.

b) do NOT want to give birth during hockey season.

Therefore, if I get KU, I have to give birth in like May, so that means I need to get it on around August.

Oh and I agree that Alicia will be the pregnant woman that looks like she's smuggling a basketball. I will be the pregnant woman that gains weight EVERYWHERE.

Dats..

I got negatives for about two weeks as well.. then I finally got my BFP. Sometimes your body takes a little longer to build up the hormone for the test. If it doesn't come in a week.. try another test and if it still negative.. go to the doctor! If you can wait that long.. I knew in my heart I was KU and had the symptoms.. but the damn tests hated me! Good luck!

Thanks tara. It's reassuring to hear other people had to wait a while for the test to be positive. Everyone keeps telling me that theirs was positive like the first or second day of their missed AF.
