So this morning DH and I are in the kitchen getting our coffee ready. Here is the conversation:
DH: So, did you forget to run the dishwasher last night?
ME (clearly irritated): Uh, did I forget to run the dishwasher last night? Did YOU forget to run the dishwasher last night?
DH (clearly very proud of himself): Well, you said that we needed to run the dishwasher and when I came out last night to program the coffee maker I noticed that the dishwasher hadn't been started so I took care of it.
CONGRATU-FU**ING-LATIONS! YOU RAN THE DISHWASHER! Is someone giving away trophies for such acts of valiance? Because let me tell you, you might as well call me Sue Sylvester because I am going to need a trophy case for all the prizes coming my way!
WTH? Why is it assumed that I am going to do everything? How did 'we' become 'me'? And why does he feel like he should be congratulated for doing something that I do at least three times a week without any acknowledgment? And clearly he thought this was my task that I failed to do and felt he needed to point that out to me.
So annoying.
Re: F/U to Husbands
Oy! Seriously?! You should seriously make him a trophy today out of tin foil.
DH got home last night from being away all week and I decided to stay home to make sure Dewey behaves w/his stitches today... sooo I ask DH to take Simon out this morning and he fought it saying that I'm home all day... excuse me?! This is not fun- I was the one who had to deal with the vet and surgery this week... take the f'ing dog out.
If I weren't sitting in a roomful of Kindergarteners right now, I'd be rolling on the floor laughing. I did just laugh out loud. Ugh, so right!!!! And I love the Sue Sylvester shout out! Joe always makes an announcement when he does something. Like I need an fing play by play. Good for you, you should do it!!!! Men....
I like when they say, I was going to do it but you did it first. As if the 2-3 days it wasn't done wasn't enough time for them to have completed ....insert task.... You did it just to say that they never do anything.
That's what I love
ALL of this... fantastic.
Turning a dial actually, but yes, something simple...
