What cool things does your company do for the holidays?
It's my first year at this company so a lot of things are new to me. We had a nice, fairly casual cocktail party-style holiday party (which was great because you could come and go as you please), but today I found out that they also make a donation on our behalf to a charity of our choice. I love that idea!
What do your companies do?
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

We have a Toys-for-Tots drive every year as well as a non-perishable food drive. We usually have a holiday luncheon or two as well.
And they shut down between Christmas and New Years which means no work
This year we're off 12/24 until 1/4!
DH gets this too. I'm definitely jealous!
So jealous of everyone who gets the week between Christmas and New Year's off. No such luck for me!
Our company does a big holiday party each year...this year we had it at a ski mountain. I didn't go but I heard it was a good time. Our department also did a pot luck and yankee swap - in addition to making donations to Project Just Because.
We also could adopt a veteran and/or family.
