Sigh....I was back in the emergency vet last night. Rusty got backed up again. I really thought this was behind us. Rob and I tried administering 1.5 enemas but it didn?t work. I had to take him in so that they could digitally extract everything. I got home from the vet around 1:15-1:30 and had to clean the spare bathroom, which was covered in poop from him having the runs after the enema. I think I finally got in bed around 2am and had to get up at 5am for work.
The vet recommends that we take him to a specialist. I think I'm going to have to do it despite the cost. I'm so tired of this and tired of watching him go through this. I really thought that we had put this behind us after I got him off Guinness' (my fat cat) Hills prescription diet but it must be something else that's causing this. I think this was the 7th time in a year.

I'm sorry sweetie. I hope the specialist can give you some info. I will say going to a holistic vet with Sadie was a godsend. She asked questions the other vet never did and was so helpful about if this doesn't work, we'll try this and here's my sort of plan.
We do feed Sadie Wellness Simple Solutions which is for dogs that have allergies and can't have complex food. I'm sure they have a similar cat one.

That really sucks dude. I have absolutely no advice, unfortunately. You guys were doing all the right things. Hopefully the specialist will be able to sort it out!!
