Friday meetings should be outlawed
My team has meetings every other Friday afternoon, which is the dumbest thing ever. They're either completely pointless or full of important information that I promptly forget about entirely over the weekend since I leave as soon as the meeting's over.
Today it ran long, so I said, "I'm going to have to leave in two minutes." My boss asked the other members if there was anything they needed to discuss with me around, and my coworker piped up that there was "just one quick little thing". He then proceeded to talk for 10 minutes, repeating information he had told me earlier today. Then my boss asked everybody what their schedule was for next week, causing me to miss my bus. So annoying.
