apologizing in advance - caution, vomit story

First of all, I had a really really great time today, and I loved seeing all you wonderful ladies and your adorable children.  Thanks to Jess and Tim for throwing a great GTG!

Second of all, I'm apologizing in advance if any of you get sick this week.  I threw up about 20 minutes before leaving Jess's with what I thought was a weird pregnancy thing.  Nope, no such luck.  I threw up three times ON MYSELF while driving home because it came on too suddenly for me to make it to the exit or pull the car over.  I've since (after cleaning out my car and taking a shower -- yuck) thrown up two more times at home.  I can't keep anything down, and MH told me he threw up right before I got home and he feels awful too.  (Thankfully not quite as awful, so he's able to take care of Owen.)

I have no idea where we picked this up.  I'm hoping that it's actually food poisoning from our pizza last night and not a virus, so then Owen (and you guys) won't get it.  This sucks.

  • Oh no!!! The stomach flu has been going around big time up here. I hope you feel better soon. I felt bad for you when you left, knowing you went through all of that on your way home, I'm so so sorry :(

  • What a horrible drive! I hope you feel better soon!
  • no fun!  This so sounds like what Chris and I went through the first week of November.  Took a day and half to get over it and thankfully Taylor didn't catch it.

Hopefully you feel better soon! Hugs

  • OMG!  MEGAN!!  What a horrible way to end a great day.  I was certainly wishing you a nice, quiet, relaxing two hour drive home...I'm so sorry :-(  Hopefully you all feel better soon!

  • Thanks, girls.  I hope none of you catch it.  I'm starting to feel a little better; I kept down about 5 Triscuits and a clementine last night and had a bowl of dry cheerios this morning -- so far, so good.  I wish MH wasn't sick, too...I'd love to just check out today and have him do everything.  Thankfully Owen still shows no signs of feeling sick.

  • Your drive home sounds dreadful!  I'm so sorry you've been hit with a bug or stomach poisoning that badly.  :-(

  • Oh my, I didn't realize what had happened when you walked by and said sometimes you really hated pregnancy, until you said something to Erin and I.  I am so sorry your ride was so awful...I hope you feel better soon...
