What meds/supplements do they have your kitty on? I can't remember what you told me before.

We're only on Lactulose right now. I didn't refill the Cisapride. The vet recommended I go get some canned pumpkin and make him eat some of that.

Is he on a wet food? How much water does he drink? Im pretty sure you can give them metamucil too, but I dont know the dosage for it.

Yeah he's on wet food. The vet wants me to wean all of them off dry food. She said it'll help Rusty with his issue and it'll help Guinness lose weight. So if I feed them wet food 2x per day, how many ounces should they get?

It depends on the brand, and I only have books for science diet and royal canin at work. But definitely the wet food will help with his issue. Keeps his poops moister which helps them pass better. ...Sexay.

i forgot your cat has pooping issues too!!!! Horton is also on Lactulose, and we recently switched both boys over to all wet food and it has made a world of difference. I only have to give the Lactulose every few days now as opposed to everyday. the few times he got super backed up, the vet had me give him a dulcolax.

Thanks Kelly. We're doing what we can. It's just very frustrating and expensive.
