T&P's needed
My great uncle Danny was diagnosed with lung cancer just before Halloween. He immediately began receiving radiation treatments at Duke Hospital, but they learned yesterday that the tumor has only grown larger. The doctors have decided that chemo is not a good option for him, so he's being sent home with hospice. They've given him a few weeks, at most. It's just such a terrible situation all around but this time of year compounds things. I really pray that he can have this last Christmas with the family.
My heart is just breaking for my great aunt - they've been together since grade school. My grandmother is extremely upset as well, since they've all been friends since they were small children.
If you could spare some thoughts & prayers for my family, it'd be much appreciated.
