Quality time that is. I have to use up my "Paid Time Off" before I lose it at the end of the year, so since end of Oct. I have been taking a 3rd day off to use 8 hours of PTO each week (I have 30 more to burn), and DH always gets 4 days off so we have been spending a lot of quality time together. We decorated the house together and did some Christmas Shopping together (not much accomplished coz we keep finding things we want for our house instead of gifts for family and friends lol). We bought an Ipod Dock and have been jamming on Bruno Mars, Black Eyed Peas, and other artists lately and the best part is our dance off in the living room when a good song comes on, he's being silly and was acting like a dog in heat (he said this is how guys dance in the clubs) lol when a booty shaking song come on lol and we laughed till our tummy hurts after. We went to a 21st birthday party lastnight (we felt so old lol) and the dad of the celebrant, DJs so there's dancing and "OUR" booty shaking song came on he was like "Oh no babe, I hope I don't turn into a dog in heat infront of everybody" LMAO.
We are having such great time.
Now I shared my silly story with DH, whats yours? I know its Sunday so I might not get much response but feel free to continue till Monday : )
Re: AW - Spending time with Dh
That is so cute! I think it's great that you guys are so silly together and just enjoy having fun together.
We're kind of nerdy. I guess that's our bond. DH downloaded Boggle for his iPad and we've been dueling at the Bogglay (that's what we call it). We stayed up until midnight playing last night.
Hey if you can sit there and play boggle all night thats amazing, I can't get DH to play any board games with me lol but apparently we can booty dance all night if I want to lmao.
How are you Kendra?
H and I are sorta nerds too (although him more than I).
H and I swim and run together. On Friday night we went to swim at the Y and had fun racing each other and goofing off after our workout. As we were swimming laps together I was thinking how happy I was that something so important to me is important to him as well. We've also been going on long(ish) runs together lately since he has had more time home since going out on his own.
We've been having some dance parties too. They normally involve me dancing crazily to some song and he just looking at my like I'm nuts. But I've gotten him to join in on the fun a few times recently. We had a car dance party on Friday night and we had some slow dance parties the past few nights.
And then this morning, he and I were laying in bed together "working" on our laptops. I was editing an article he wrote. I commented that we NEVER stay in bed past like 730 and just lounge.

Love it! Some of my favorite memories with DH are when we're not really doing anything. Like when we're driving in the car and he's totally singing the chorus to my made-up song (using highway signs as inspiration!) Or the time he humored me and went out for ice cream in the pouring rain.
DH's are awesome! Can't wait til mine gets home!
DH is a huge sports fan. (I love hockey, and am trying to appreciate the fine art of football
).
My husband has little dances he does when specific players get a goal or a touchdown. I started joining him, and we laugh hysterically (whether we're in our living room or at a stadium/arena) when we do the dances.

Awe, these are all so sweet!
Moonstone, I had a feeling yours would be about working out with your husband. I think it's awesome that you guys are into the same things.
Junie, I'm doing pretty well. The hubs and the kids are having a cranky day, but it'll all be better in two hours when I put them all to bed! How has decorating the house been? Are you hosting Christmas this year with your family?
yeah, that and reading together. Sexy.

Aw, this is a fun post.
Chris and I fish together, which I'm sure everyone already knows that. Sometimes Chris will ride his bike when I go on a long run. Lately I've gotten to run w/ Carolyn on our long runs, so that is fun.. and Chris does not mind, because he doesn't love to ride, but he will for me
We lay in bed at night and watch Family Guy. Lol. I used to hate Family Guy, but it's one of those shows that grows on you.
It does
