Weekend plans?
So, we're a bit late to start this thread, but here goes:
Friday night: We stayed in, did a bit of laundry. I crashed - my work hours lately have been INSANE (12 and 15 hours days, five days a week!) and I am just exhausted come Friday - hell, come Thursday night!
Today: Chores (grocery shopping, finishing laundry). I have to run to Home Depot and to some fabric stores and get some prices on things for the play. I also have to make it a point today to clean up my crap that's been assembling around the house all week. We'll end up baking tonight since I need to bring in cookies for the secretaries and custodians this week.
Tomorrow: We're going into NYC to see the tree and to have dinner with some friends.

Re: Weekend plans?
Last night: made an easy dinner and had a dinner and movie date night at home.
Today: did a little baking and stuff around the house. Later, we are going to my parents' to celebrate my brother's birthday.
Tomorrow: typical Sunday stuff. Maybe a little last minute shopping for Christmas. I need some gifts for my work friends.
Last night: Rested, hung out, had visitors (who brought pot pie, so we wouldn't have to cook!) also woke up every 20 minutes to put ice on/off my knee throughout the night....
Today: more rest, finishing Christmas ornaments for our grandmas, and hopefully going to see the huge outdoor light show at the local park if I am feeling up to sitting in the car for that long....They set up scenes with lights and you get to drive through at night....it looks cool and despite living here for the last 2 years we have yet to go see it.
Tomorrow: church, more rest, probably playing xbox, watching movies and making more ornaments.

Friday and Saturday I worked.
Today I work. And I get to see my friend who is just getting home from her last semester at school and is moving far away for a pretty cool job.
Friday just chilled after a long day at work. Then Saturday went to Cheesecake Factory with my sisters, mom and aunt for my aunt's 60th birthday. Then shopped for ingredients for a dish I have to make for work monday and cookies. Then baked most of the rest of the day.
Today finished some baking and took packages of cookies to the neighbors now just relaxing.
I've also been on call for work all weekend but thankfully haven't had to go in yet, hope it continues that way!!!
Friday DH and I had our annual Christmas cocktail party that we host and go all out for...so I've been MIA lately prepping for that. I didn't even check my email at all this weekend until today.
Saturday we volunteered at a Christmas program our church hosts for underprivileged urban kids. It's such an eye opener. I cry every year because every year some poor kid tells me they don't want to pick out a gift for their dad or mom because he or she is in prison or something equally as sad.
Saturday night we had dinner with my family and my cousin who just moved back to the states from being stationed in Iraq, then Japan. He's in the Air Force. It was nice to see him. Then DH and I did a little Christmas shopping for his family.
Today we went to Church, finished the cleaning up from our Christmas party (phew...that took FOREVER), and did Christmas shopping for each other. I am just now sitting down...what a crazy weekend.
I miss you guys! I've been reading the posts when I can and it seems like holiday craziness has attacked everyone!
