How many cookies would you consider a good christmas gift? I'm making up a pretty plate for my extended families (1 per family)...but not sure how many cookies i should do.
I'll be making at least 3 varieties of cookies this week: twisty candy cane cookies, snickerdoodle blossoms, stained-glass christmas tree cookies (and maybe gingerbread men if i have time).
Do you think 15-20 cookies is enough for plate or is that too cheap?

Re: How many cookies?
We normally fill a small dessert plate with a laryer and half of cookies (thats about 10-20 depending on what kinds we make that year). If they're going to like grandparents we normally give a normal plate of cookies and put on like a layer and a half (like 20-30). I think it just depends on how many cookies you have (we always have a lot!).
Hope that helped!

I think 15-20 is a good amount. Just enough for everyone to be satisfied but not so many that not all of them will get eaten.
Unless one family is huge (like 5+ people)....then I'd go a little higher.
