Slow Board = Time for a joke!

"Doctor, I think I have a serious problem.  I'm beginning to act like a dog.  I'm barking at night, eating dog food, craving dog treats."

"Very interesting.  Why don't you lay down here on the couch and we'll have a talk?"

"I'm not allowed on the couch!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Happy Monday!  5 days until Christmas!

  • haha, cute!

3 day work week for me!!!! ::happy dance::

  • Ugh, I can't believe Monday is here again.

I feel like crap this morning...the only reason I came into work is because Don got a taillight for his car off of EBay and it's being shipped to my work and it scheduled to be delivered today.  I finished all my work 20 minutes ago and am just sitting here ok TN, checking FB on my phone, and reading a book.  All I want to do is crawl into my bed!  It's gonna be a loooong day!

On the brighter side, it's only a 4 work week for me AND then I only work Monday next week!!! Woohoo!!!

  • yup, four day work week here too.

I definitely would take off another day if I hadn't taken off at least one day a week for the past month.

  • I have a 3.5 day week.  I wish the 0.5 were today.  I was running around like a maniac yesterday finishing up gift shopping, grocery shopping and had to make an emergency run to buy a chest freezer b/c K shot three deer on Saturday and we didn't have anywhere to put them!  Now I'm exhausted and don't even want to think about all the baking that's ahead of me now that I bought all this crap...  Yay, Christmas! :-)

  • Yay for short weeks!  3 1/2 days for me too...In need of a short week after this past weekend.

First, I got a pedi at a newly opened nail shop - it was manned by 3 guys, no female workers or other customers when I walked in.  The pedi took 90 minutes and felt like overkill...normal nail care AND scrub AND lotion AND paraffin AND hand massage AND hot stone massage AND...  A good deal for $30, and maybe they're just trying to impress to draw customers, but I was SUPER creeped out by the time I left and don't think I'll be going back there.

Then, we had Christmas with my mom's family on Saturday and did not stay over.  DH ended up getting sick on the ride home, but didn't give me enough warning to pull off the side of the highway, and so the car (inside & out) suffered.

Sent out Christmas cards over the weekend, and anxious to finish up the shopping & wrapping this week so I can just enjoy the holiday.  Cheers for a short work week!

  • Haha on the dog joke. :) Morning all, I too had a busy weekend, work on Saturday and lots of wrapping and working on the etched beer steins we are giving to my cousin, uncle, grandpa and H's friend. They are a lot of work, and I finished 4 of 8. Today I need to run a few errands and I am meeting H for lunch. I only have to work on Thursday, but H has been really busy and working early and such, so by the time Friday rolls around we'll be SO happy!
