I had a revelation!

Do you realize that our numbers will never increase? No new girls are ever going to show up and join the "I got married in Sept 2010" board. Our numbers are only going to get smaller and smaller as people drift away, get preoccupied with other things etc. etc.

It explains why things are so dead, and will likely get worse.

Well, I'm sure girls will pop up every now and then going "ZOMG! I got married in Sept 2010 and I didn't know the knot/nest existed back then!" And then they'll get all annoyed because by then we'll be all clique-y and be talking about how so-and-so is expecting her 2nd kid and how this-one got a great deal on a new car and how that-one's MIL is a biotch.

There may still be some people who wander in once they find out there are anniversary boards here. We must have some lurkers, too. Maybe we should encourage them to come out and play!

I am sad, though, that we've lost so many already. I wasn't sure I'd stick around at first, but now that I see how much more entertaining this is than working - I think I'll stay a while. :-)

I love the misleading titles - half the time I only click on the intriguing ones.

But anway, this is a good (albeit) depressing point to make. I feel like most former Knotties mostly just lurk now instead of post on a regular basis (i.e., Jody is around & knows what's going on but doesn't post as often).

It is sad how there was so many of us at one time and now so few!

I do have to say I lurk more then I post just bc I guess I am focused on other things.............facebook is a tad easier for me to keep up with some of you!

I was never a huge poster on TK either.. I'm a lurker/minimal poster. But this time of the year is so busy for me because I am a Hallmark store manager. Tis the season! Plus with a LO on the way.. my life is getting even more hectic! Though.. I try to check in daily!
