I usually love the holidays, but I just can't wait to get them over with this year. I'm so sick of the drama from my inlaws who have invited themselves and their 4 kids. We spent over $500 meeting their demands at the grocery store, just to find out they don't plan on showing up for Christmas dinner until 7pm! They are going to Disney first, then to FIL's for an "early dinner." They are leaving the kids here for 2 days, while they go to the Vinoy. I'm also stuck with MIL for the ENTIRE week.
H is getting frustrated too, and it's his family! I said he needs to tell them that we're going to charge a nightly fee just like a hotel! At 8 months pregnant I'm not about to cook and clean all day and night for these people.
Sorry...rant over. ![]()

Life As We Know It
Re: I feel like Scrooge!
They were going to come for Thanksgiving, and decided not to. They just decided to come now, about 2 weeks ago. And it's not entirely my decision. Had we known what this was going to turn into, we probably would have. But the plans have changed about 20 times in the past two weeks.
I was trying not to be Scrooge. But clearly next year I will be.
This. Sorry you have to deal with all this drama.
