Morning! & *Elfsters*
Morning ladies! Was up at 1 and 3 with Sadie and the big D again. No idea what set her off this time. At least DH took her out at 3, but she always comes to my side to wake me up.
Anyone NOT gotten their ornaments? I think everyone has, but I wanted to double check.

Morning, poor Sadie
I am still annoyed with dh this morning so my anger fueled me this morning. He went out after his hockey game last night (which I am not a psycho or anything and was fine with) the state in which he arrived home is another story and pi$$ed me off so much.
On a sad note I was a blubbering mess this weekend at the vet. We took Lilly in for her rabies update and while waiting (the waiting room is very tiny so it's not hard to figure what everyone is in for) an older lady came in with her adult son and what looked like a labrador mix. They were 'putting him down' and I immediately started to cry when I overheard. I had to cover my face with my hair because I was sure everyone would think I was weird. I eventually looked up at dh and he was completely fighting back tears too. I was sad all weekend thinking about the poor dog.
Hope Sadie is feeling better.
I had a screaming headache start last night and it seems to be continuing today. I'm not enjoying it.
DH has this week off and only works Monday next week. I am so jealous. I want to stay home and do nothing all week. But I can't. So he will be spending the week sitting on his asss doing nothing but trying to find the end of the internet (again) while I will work all day then go home and bake cookies, cake balls, and beer bread for his family.
Totally understand this one. My DH is the same way. Hopefully it will happen less now that he is transferring further away from the house in a couple weeks.
Morning! I got to work at 6:30 this morning to make sure I have everything done before I leave tomorrow! I can't even stand it I'm so excited. We have an 11 hour car ride, but being with family on Christmas is worth it. I can't wait to see my niece and how much she's grown.
I'm packed and all presents are wrapped with pretty bows - squee!!

Ugh I was so mad. I have to admit he has gotten sooooo much better since being married, like rarely even goes out now. I completely don't care about the going out (I mean I guy has to hang out with buddies) it's the drinking. I was so dissapointed yesterday and still today. He told me last night he was mad at himself too. I told him if some of his friends wives are dumb enough to be cool with it that they are fools.
Morning! I'm counting down the days until I'm off Thursday - I'm off from 12/23 until 1/5!! I can't wait!
Sorry about Sadie and the husbands. Mine certainly has been in that group before (I don't bother counting how many times).
Morning ladies!!! Had a wonderfully fun and productive weekend! I got all my baking done (though DH is still going to make cutouts so we'll need to decorate those and the gingerbread).
Also went to my IL"s annual holiday party. Lots of fun and drinking that night. My DH was not crazy drunk, however my dad passed out and ended up sleeping most of the night in one of my IL's recliners rather than making it to the guestroom. My mom and I tried to get him up when it was time for bed and he started talking nonesense about the dog, and various other things... so he stayed there until he woke up, crazy confused where the he!l he was, in the middle of the night.
Also since my MIL is allergic to our dog, but we were all coming to stay there so we had no one to dog sit, we had to bring the dog. He was so well behaved during the party when he was in his crate in the bedroom. Before bed we moved his crate so he wouldn't bother anyone. He whined all night off and on. I dont' know if it was cold in there for him (it's insulated and heated, but becasue it's glass sometimes gets colder than the rest of the house) or if he just wanted to be with people. So I got up with him at 7 and we hung out until I started to fall back asleep around 9. As I was bring him into the living room I stubbed my toe on a table and am pretty convinced I broke something or at least sprained it. So I now am "buddy taping" it to my other toe and it still hurts. GRR

Morning ladies! Today di not start the way I'd hoped- it's one of my days to be in at 7:30 and I definitely woke up at 7:28. Oops. Fortunately I have a meeting that's going to run a little later than my normal 4pm leave time. I feel like that balances it all out.
I also have to run to Best Buy and return one of Drew's presents. Turns out he bought himself the video game I picked up at a Black Friday online sale.
I hope Sadie's feeling better soon!
