As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

we moved!
we officially moved on saturday and have spent two nights in our new house. it was weird driving to work from there today, lol. there are boxes everywhere and still plenty of unpacking to do, but we're very happy.
there were no major problems. my sis unpacked/rearranged things in the bottom kitchen cabinets and the very top shelves that needed a ladder. people kept telling me not to do things, lol. i ate too many donuts (FIL's fault) and too much pizza (pizza was our fault, we provided lunch but had so much leftover!), but actually made dinner last night so hopefully we're back on the right track now.
my goal is to have the living room cleaned up enough to put up the small artifical tree my parents brought us on christmas eve. oh, i'd also like to get the ladder out of the kitchen, lol.

How exciting!! That is great that you have so much time off in the next couple weeks to get things put together.
Did you kind of feel guilty that people wouldn't let you help? I was only 8 weeks when we moved stuff out of the apartment (and 12 when we moved the stuff in to the house) and no one would let me carry anything heavier than a lamp. I felt so useless!
