Time Off

I am so looking forward to Christmas and New Years and not because I love the Holidays but because I get time off from work!!!!! This week I have Friday off and next week I will be off Monday and Friday. It's not as much time off as I wanted but heck it's one more day away from the maddness.

Richard will be off from the 23rd thru Jan 3rd, I'm so jealous of him.

How much time is everyone taking off for the holidays?

Our store only closes down for Christmas Eve and New Years Eve this year, but I have 3 days left of vacation to take so I'll be taking that next week.

I work Mon - Thurs this week and only Mon next week!
I'll be a wonderful break from this place!!!

I have this Thursday and Friday off, and next Friday.

However, I may take my personal day on the 30th before I lose it and make another 4 day weekend :-) Plus I get to work from home next week since it's so dead here (which I love right about now).

I count myself very lucky. My company shuts down for the week between Christmas and New Year's, so I get half day on Thursday, Friday off, and don't come back to work til Jan. 3. Yesssssssss!!!

My company does this, but they don't pay us! We get holiday pay for Christmas and New Years, but that's it. Luckily for my bank account, it's a short holiday this year. I usually plan ahead, so it doesn't matter to me. I wish I had more time off.

I had my hours cut back in the spring, so every other week I have short weeks. So I work today and then I would normally work Thursday and Friday but because of the holiday I'm not. So I have all week to get ready for Christmas and bake. Then I'll go back next Monday, Tuesday, Wed. and Thursday.

I was only going to take off from the 24th to the 27th, going back to work either in the afternoon on the 27th or on the 28th. But I've been working really random hours lately because Jeff is still not back on his feet after his knee surgery, and I have no clue when I'll be working regularly again. I am hoping he can drive soon, because he has physical therapy 3x per week and even though my boss is understanding, I'm sure eventually his patience will start to wear thin!
