This video sums up my feelings during and after the GTG yesterday!

Do you think they will like these red and green apples?
I don't know; never met the girls.
They do exist!
Hopefully, next time I will be less stunned and more talkative
Re: Reflection on the GTG
I'm a pretty social butterfly, so I never have a problem saddling right up and starting a conversation (as I gladly did with you!!!) but these big GTGs nowadays have a LOT going on! Kids, hubbies, people who have known each other for years, newbies- the whole nine yards! It can be more than a little overwhelming!
And for that reason I'm so glad you came, stayed, and socialized! I just hope you found us to be a warm bunch and will come out again soon. I find that I don't click 100% with everyone (which is not some subliminal message about not liking anyone- there is no one I just plain don't like, we're such a great group like that) but there are some gals here that are now friends for life. I hope you find the same!
I'm glad you came! It was nice to meet you. I did like your red and green apples, and my daughter ate a whole cup full of the pretzels.
I'm actually an introvert myself but I've been around here for-ev-er so I'm pretty comfortable yapping all day long at these events. I think you'll find that it doesn't take long for new faces to become old friends.
You guys are too sweet. I swear I wasn't fishing for complements
I had a great time meeting all of you too. It was just like, whoa a real person exists on the other end of the interwebs!
You all made yummy food as well. I didn't have to eat dinner I was so full.
I didn't know who you were until Sarah told me on the ride home when I asked her who the girl was who had the little boy and no nametag. LOL
I was thinking this sort of thing on Sat. night....
This was my second GTG (besides a brief visit with Maeghan) and I still feel that way especially with seeing all the kiddos this time. At both GTG's I was lucky enough to have some of the more social ladies draw me into conversation. I tend to be very shy with people I don't "know" and since I spend a great deal of my awake time conversing with a 2.5 yr old my social skills aren't exactly where I'd like them to be. In fact I feel more comfortable talking/playing with the kids because I know I can make them laugh and smile.
That being said the ladies I have met at these GTGs are so genuine and sweet, I look forward to seeing them again. Next time I will be sure to say hi and "pass out" next to you....
