Poll: Where do you buy your jeans?

I need to find new jeans and thought you girls might be able to give me a couple places to start. The main problem is I need something with a higher waist. I'm short and the super low rise just makes my legs look shorter. Also, let's just say my booty is not in proportion with the rest of me. This causes a gapping waste band.

Re: Poll: Where do you buy your jeans?

  • Girl, I hear you on being high waisted.  I feel like a grandma sometimes LOL!  Old Navy has a cut that is higher waisted, I can't remember the name of it at the moment.  I either buy my jeans from there or H&M.
  • Banana Republic is my go to for jeans.  Gap has a new line out and for Katy I buy Levi's.  She has a big butt for her size and a tiny waist so she needs a higher rise.  The girl looks like J Lo.
  • I love American Eagle jeans
  • I tend to hit The Gap for mine.
  • I actually get most of mine at Good Will. The nicer the neighborhood the Good Will is in the more likely you are to find the high-end brand names at good prices. I've gotten 7, True Religion, and Lucky Jeans for $20-30.

Also check out Kohl's.  They carry a wide variety of nice jeans and you can always find sales going on.

  • My favorite pair of jeans right now are actually from Target.  They have a new line of jeans and they have 7 different "fits".  I like that each fit has the description on the wall (mid/high/low waist, curvy/straight/flare/skinny), they come in different combos of those and most importantly for me, they come in short lengths (and tall for the tall ladies).  I have the same issues as you and for only $25 I thought these were great.

  • I'm an express jean girl.  I like these alot. http://tinyurl.com/2fqmgg6

They aren't crazy low rise either.  I also have good luck at The Buckle. Which I'm not sure if you would have on up in the NE though.

I'm actually wearing these right now!  I've been an Express girl for several years but think I need a change.  I feel like my crack problem is getting out of control and a belt  doesn't help.  Embarrassed

I've never heard of The Buckle.

  • You should check out the Dream cut at Old Navy, I think that one has a higher waist. They seem to fit me right, they fit at the waist & aren't too tight around the hips. I also like Gap jeans, but haven't bought any from there in a while.
  • Gap

They have a new line out called Curvy (or something like that) and they are made for people who have a small waist and a butt.  I love them!  I don't have to pull my pants up all the time and I don't have that stupid gap anymore.  I have never loved a pair of jeans like this before!

  • My favorites are all either from The Gap clearance rack or from Kohl's. I'm cheap. I don't spend much money on jeans. I'm dreading the day when I have to buy maternity jeans and might drop outrageous money on them.

You need to do it though.  I bought a cheap pair from Old Navy early on and I just looked fat in them.  I splurged on a designer pair from Pea In The Pod at about 6 months and they were awesome!!  I wish I had them all along!  I hate to admit it, ut I'm still wearing them now....Embarrassed

  • Right now I have jeans from Old navy (the sweetheart) and I wear them all the time.  I also have a pair from Levi's (545) but I find that I have to hike those up more than i would like, but they make my  booty look good so its a give and take.   When I spent more money on jeans i bought them at Express they seemed to fit well, I have a high waist and a... lets say curvaceous booty for my waist size.   Although when it comes to work pants I like the Limited and Victoria's secret.

  • I'm an American Eagle fan. I used to wear Lucky, BKE's, and Rockstar from Buckle but those can get expensive and American Eagle has the right fit for me. But yea, if you're looking for high waisted, this wouldn't be the place to go. I'm short with an even shorter torse. I have to buy low rise, long or ex-long to get the fit just right. Yes, I'm a freak. :)

  • I love Big Star jeans from The Buckle (they also have them at Nordstrom).  The Buckle has a lot of different brands/style/fits and they can help you find the perfect pair!
