Merry Christmas Week everyone!
How is everyone today? I went out on Saturday to finish Christmas shopping and I am ALMOST done. I only have my MIL left to finish shopping for. Anyone have any suggestions? MH and I try to buy her a lot of small things and then a big thing since FIL passed and he always got her one big gift each year. I have 4 bluray discs for her so far. And that's it.
Re: Good Monday Morning
Hi girls.
I finally finished my shopping this weekend too. I was kind of done weeks ago but then I had forgotten to get something for Dawson's daycare lady and then I got a few stocking stuff things for Dawson too. So now I am 100% done. I ordered a few things for Dawson on amazon on Friday because I have a problem and can't stop buying him things so I will just have to wrap those quickly when they come.
So I could have been done awhile but just kept buying!
Good morning ladies!
I have a few more things to purchase as well. I know what I am getting just need to get to the stores to do it. MH lost his wallet for the 3rd time in 2 months yesterday. It had his xmas money in it. I was so pissed at him. I personally think my FIL has sticky fingers.
What kinds of things does your MIL like?
I honestly don't know what to say my MIL likes. I can probably come up with a million little things to buy her but nothing big. And MH is no help. She has a yorkie. She loves him.
I'm just at a loss for what to buy.
Happy Monday!
I came into a big surpise at work. Three 22" monitors in a vertical position.
I have since adjusted the middle one to horizontal and cleaned off my desk. I didn't know they were doing this, so everything was out of order. I also put my shelf back, hopefully they won't care but I needed my shelf.
We also finished Christmas shopping this weekend, just need to wrap it all now.
As far as MIL presents go, can you make her a movie night type theme to go with the movies? There are always slippers, hot chocolate from Williams Sonoma, gift card to Borders.
My school has vertical monitors and I love them...now 3 I think would be a bit much!
Mandy, you could get her Yorkie a companion!!! Talk about a big gift!
We normally have two monitors and people test piloted three and like it. We are supposed to be paperless and the third monitor is supposed to aid in that goal. We can have excel on one screen, the tax software on another and the document retention program on the last. Overall, it is supposed to aid in our efficiency and then limit the number of files we are minimizing/maximizing.
I had no problem with two and actually have two at home. The three vertical monitors was a bit much.
I like at least having one horizontal at this point and two vertical. I will do most of my work on the middle horizontal one and throw my PDF workpapers on the others (that way I can see the whole workpaper rather than having to scroll through it)
