Sing Off finale tonight
I didn't watch this show last season -- did it go this quickly last time around? I can't believe it's almost over.
So who are you rooting for? Did anybody vote?

I think the season was pretty short last time, too.
I don't think any of the groups is perfect, but I want The Backbeats or Committed to win. I will be disappointed if either of the other two win, but I'm not motivated enough to vote.

Thank goodness for fast-forwarding on the DVR. They pack in so much extra fluff on this show.
I think my long-dead 98* crush was reignited a bit when Nick sang. :-)

I voted once for the old dudes but I think in the end Committed will win.
Is it just me or does everyone sound particularly bad tonight? I guess doing it live doesn't give them any time to fix things up all pretty like.

Okay I just fast forwarded to see who won. Not sure if this is a spoiler post so I won't say anything... la la la.
I'm glad that Committed won. I liked them. That freaky lookin' front man of theirs is great.
I also really liked Street Corner Symphony. Jerry Lawson and Talk of the Town bugged me to no end.

Live TV was not kind to Jerry Lawson when they finished that one song and he had foamy spit all in the corners of his mouth.
It seemed like several of the groups had trouble hearing their starting notes and settling into the right key.
Also, I never realized that there was one guy in Streetcorner Symphony who was so short.
Oh man, Jerry's spit mouth grossed me out so much.
Mike is convinced they added the short guy halfway through the contest. Or swapped him with a taller dude. Though I don't know why they had to put the tallest and shortest guys next to each other for their last song.
I usually just listened to the show while flipping through a magazine so my opinion was not swayed by mouth spit. It certainly would have been had I seen it.
I think I felt bad for the old geezers. I always have a soft spot for the underdog...
I am glad Committed won.
