We got each other a sweet new 46' TV and a AHHmazing Fireplace. Webought and set them up yesterday, just in time to show them off for the Holiday's.

We are buying a new TV too!! We currently have a 19" TV that hasd a DVD player in it from when I still lived at home.
We're going to upgrade to this one, I think. I'm so excited!! We're going to pay cash for it too, so that's exciting!

I think your stand is perfect for the size of TV you plan on getting. I would also ask Target about their price match. At Best Buy if the price drops within 30 days all I have to do is bring the receipt in and they will give you the difference.
I love gifting/wrapping too so we are getting each other a few things to have under the tree. Small things. I am wrapping some York peppermint patties and a card. Im sure your busy getting baby things! how fun
Wow, do you guys have a budget for each other? -I'd love to get a kindle, why did you pick a nook? What kind of cologne are you thinking for him? I am currently loving Coach, well it helps that I work there and get a discount.
I got DH the "all in one" fancy dansy remote control for the TV, blue ray, cable, and surround sound that he wanted. I also got him a couple movies, one of them is the very first movie he ever took me too, about 18 or 19 years ago. The funny part is, I didn't remember what movie it was, he told me. I'm also going to get him some pj pants.
DD is getting my old Kindle as I got an upgrade. She actually wanted my old one, given the choice of a new one or my old one. I got her an Amazon gift card so get can load up on books and a case/cover for the Kindle too.
I got a new iPhone 4 and a case for it. Love it so far (yes, I already have it, I couldn't wait til Christmas). I was using DH's old 3G. Can't believe the difference between them.
no, no budget. i've been spending around $400-$500 on him partially because his birthday is also 12/25 (hence why we call it Larsmas).
i want to get him a nook because he got me a nook for MY birthday in november. and because he doesn't have one, he keeps buying paperbacks. lol. so, if i get him a nook, we can by eBooks and Lend them to each other.

I got DH a Wii game (MJ Experience) and a new soccer jersey for playing indoor soccer over the winter. Might get him the skydiving groupon from today too...

Lily, We are getting my MIL a Kindle, that is why I asked, wondering if you heard better things about the nook. I guess its too late now that we already bought it. And that's right, I forgot about Larsmas--
FWIW, the nook does get much better reviews. i just picked up a nookColor for lars and the downtown BN. it's sweet. totally touch screen like an iphone and the web browser is just about as nice too. (something i cannot say for the regular nook).
My H would be so jealous of your 46" tv. We currently have a 32" but apparently that isn't big enough.
We do a gift exchange for christmas every year so we only have to buy one gift. H and I decided not to exchange gifts this year because we're going to Vegas in March (need to save gambling $$) and hopefully another vacation next fall/winter. We'd rather spend the money traveling than on gifts.
As I have complained about a lot lately, the Mr. and I have spent a boat load of money on housing repairs so we bought little things this year.
We celebrated Christmas yesterday and he bought me Just Dance 2 for the Wii. I bought him cufflinks, a flannel shirt, and big ol' SmartWool socks. Man! He was excited.
I got for Joe a set of adjustable sawhorses and a DeWalt cordless hammerdrill. He's also getting the normal basics - underwear and undershirts.
Joe got me (us) a Toto Washlet - it's basically a bidet toilet seat. I really wanted one when we got our Toto toilet, and we found it cheap online. It's not romantic, it's an odd gift, but it's a greatly appreciated upgrade for our bathroom. Joe installed it yesterday... the heated toilet seat this morning was nice since we keep the house cold (60 degrees) at night! I suspect he'll have a few small things under the tree for me to open on Christmas, though.

Heated toilet seat, might have to look into that one! We keep our house chilly as well.
