I live in between DC and Amber. I'm about 20 minutes (with normal traffic) away from the farthest out metro stop. I work about 5 minutes from a metro station that can get me into the city. Adding time in for the metro, I can be downtown in 45 minutes or so from my house (baring any traffic). I don't drive into DC because parking is expensive and just hellish.
I'm also 10 minutes from BWI.

Of course after this post, I realized, duh and google mapped how far away you were Amber! (thanks Kara!) Now I am a little more familiar with bwi & dca.
