In a few weeks I am beginning a CPA Prep Course, which will require 25-30 hours of studying a week. Needless to say I am going to have very little free time and therefore want to make a workout schedule I'll stick to. However, I'm having a hard time figuring which option is best.
A: C25K- I have enjoyed this program in the past, but have had a few injuries along the way. I'm also worried about keeping myself motivated with the cold temperatures outdoors and lack of running buddy (except for Rudy).
B: Join a neighborhood gym- The cost will be $30 a month with no contract. This option worries me because I won't have a workout buddy (DH isn't interested) to keep me accountable, but it takes away the excuse of cold temperatures and the "weird-ness" of working out with coworkers.
C: Fitness Class at Work- Range from $45-85 for 2 classes per week for 8 weeks. There is the "weird" factor about working out with your colleagues, but I could make some new friends and get that workout buddy I'm after!
Use the Gym at Work- FREE, but there is the "weird" factor again.
E: Personal Training at Work- $25 an hour. This will give me a workout buddy for accountability and give me some guidance for how to get the most out of my workout. Again there is a the "weird" factor but I feel like I'd be less intimidated with a trainer.

Talk to me more about your fitness goals. Are you looking to run a race anytime soon, race with a particular time goal? Or are you looking loose weight? Or are you just looking to keep that status quo? (maintaining can be harder than you think--especially when you are stressed out and mostly sedentary.)
Honestly, I've always really workout classes (is the $45-$85 fee a per WEEK cost or per MONTH cost? If it's per week, then it's expensive, if its per month, then that's not too bad) but the price and classes have to be right....for you. Going twice a week may help you maintain your current fitness status, but probably won't get you 5K ready.
Working with the personal trainer will definitely give you much more intense time--but imo, it's best to have a trainer when you are striving for a particular goal. They are GREAT at that--and imo that's where you'll get your biggest bang for the buck.
Working out by yourself at the gym--a great option if you don't want to spend the money but you have a plan for yourself. I'm sure there are some great ones on the internet. If you don't have a plan of action or things you want to do with each of your workout sessions (at a gym at least), you might get bored or frustrated, or just not work out hard enough to really see results.
I've never done C25K personally, but it doesn't sound like you are all excited about that prospect at the moment. It sounds like that might be better for the spring when the weather is warmer but not too hot. But it's an inexpensive, good option that provides you with a goal and variable workouts. You might do this inside on the treadmill (if you join one of the gyms) or on the not-so cold nights.
I also think that working out at work might be a good opportunity for you to meet new friends. My guess is that you aren't the first person to hesitate because of "work weirdness." If your company is large enough to have a gym, it's large enough to have more than a handful of people that probably had the first hesitations as you (at first.) I'm always one to say "give it a try." Give it a few tries. If you can't get past getting sweaty with someone from accounting, then maybe try the community gym. But my guess is that soon enough the feelings of weirdness will pass.
Good luck with your decision!!
Sorry to post and run... a few things came up at work.
My goals are to be more healthy, but my main goal is to lose weight. I'm also doing WW and just want to incorporate regular exercise. I'm trying to not put too much pressure on myself as to how much I want to lose in a specific time frame since I feel like I'll already be under a lot of stress. I would love to run a 5k someday, but I'm looking to try to complete that while getting my CPA. So I'm okay achieving that goal later.
The classes are that price for the 8 week session. So I think they end up being a pretty good price. But I'm just not sure if they will be the right fit for me. But it is hard to figure out that out beforehand.
I agree with what you are saying about the work weirdness possibly going away. I guess I just need to be committed enough to plan to allow the weirdness to subside.
I have to admit that I'm leaning towards the personal training sessions since I think that will give me a good workout and hopefully make the weirdness subside as I become more comfortable with my plan. But I still need to think through all of this.
I agree w/ Derky, the C25K plan doesn't sound right for you right now. It's really tough motivating yourself to run in the cold and even tougher when there are few hours in the day in which to do it. I think I'd probably do a session of the classes and then transition to just going to the gym. I think given your tight schedule, having a reason you have to go to the gym at a certain time/day will hold you more accountable. And after a session of classes (8 weeks), it will have become a habit and be easier to go it on your own. For me, after 8 weeks I'd probably be ready for some flexibility in both my workouts and in my schedule. And I think the weirdness factor would quickly wane and it's always fun to meet new people.
I think how useful a trainer would be depends on how well you know your way around the gym and what kind of workout you are after. If you aren't comfortable or familiar with weight exercises, I think it could be helpful to have a trainer for a month or two to introduce you to some exercises that you can carry with you when you train individually.
