changing birth control method. Advice please.
I hate being on the pill, but I'm glad I tried it. I'm now fully comfortable with the idea of just using condoms.
My question is, do I need to wait until my pill packet is done to quit them or can I just stop taking them at any time? Will my body adjust back to it's normal schedule if I just stop the pill in the middle of a pack?
Thanks!
Re: changing birth control method. Advice please.
As far as I'm aware (and unless you have extenuating circumstances other than standard birth control for being on the pill), stopping in the middle of a packet isn't going to hurt you any.
Just out of curiosity, why do you prefer condoms over the pill?
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Thank you all for the advice. I'm definitely going to check out that book.
I'm going off the pill because of the numerous side affects I've suffered from. Mood swings, thinning hair, very low sex drive, tired all the time. These are all things I never experienced before.
My period has been perfectly regular since it started when I was 12. I just like my body functioning normally. I miss it.
My husband and I don't mind condoms at all, I might try the diaphram too. I'm willing to try anything that is non hormonal.
Thanks again!
