Sad post - our marriage sponsors

I found out this morning that the wife of our marriage sponsor couple is gravely ill.

Apparently, she had a heart attack while swimming and basically sank to the bottom of the pool. She's now in a coma in the ICU. I don't know any details about her prognosis, but given that she's like 80 years old and already pretty weak, V and I are guessing that it's not good.

When we talked to the husband, all he said was, "Please just pray for us."

This news makes me just want to cry. They are absolutely the sweetest couple in the world and they've been such good role models for us; you could always see that they were best friends. We were planning to tell them at Christmas that we're expecting; instead, we'll be visiting them at the hospital. If you could spare any good thoughts or prayers, I'd really appreciate it.
