Have you been in the holiday spirit or have you been a grinch? Been grinchy up until this weekend. Now I'm kinda into it!

Do you have any Christmas traditions? A few, mainly food-related.
What is your favorite part about Christmas? The feel of it--having family together while eating massive quantities of food and opening gifts. And it's so great when you find the perfect gift for someone!

Have you been in the holiday spirit or have you been a grinch? I've been in the holiday spirit, more than usual anyway. I've been listening to Christmas music on pandora, usually Christmas music annoys me.
Do you ever buy for foster kids or families in need? Our church has a huge bus ministry, and a lot of the kids that ride the bus come from poor families who don't have much. So they do christmas boxes that they give to the kids who might not get much for Christmas. We did one of those this year. Honestly, buying things for that box was more enjoyable than buying any other gifts this year.
Do you have any Christmas traditions? We watch Christmas Vacation with the ILs every Christmas Eve. That's pretty much it right now.
What is your favorite part about Christmas? Getting together with family and friends. And like ginger said, finding that perfect gift for someone.

Have you been in the holiday spirit or have you been a grinch? A little of both. I think this is the first time in three years I've really, really been into Christmas [like, putting up a tree/lights etc.], which has been fun. But it took me forever to get into the holiday spirit - I feel like the year went by too fast.
Do you ever buy for foster kids or families in need? I usually help my sister buy stuff for her angel from the Angel Tree. I try to donate every year.
Do you have any Christmas traditions? We open presents at midnight and watch holiday movies all day. We also have Christmas dinner. This year though, it'll be different.
What is your favorite part about Christmas? Seeing family open their presents.
Have you been in the holiday spirit or have you been a grinch? Mainly in the holiday spirit. I've been enjoying listening to Christmas music and did a little decorating. However, I'm tired of commercials on tv counting down the number of shopping days left or pushing expensive presents. I'd be happier if I didn't have to exchange presents with family/friends at Christmas. Let's just enjoy each other's company.
Do you ever buy for foster kids or families in need? Yes. We sponsored foster kids at work this year, and I shopped for an older teenager rather than a little kid. I think the older kids fall through the cracks more. I enjoy Christmas shopping for people who really need the gifts, rather than struggling to find ideas for people I know who don't need anything.
Do you have any Christmas traditions? Not really. I do all the Christmas decorating at my parents' house when I come home the week before Christmas, but that's due more to laziness than a tradition!
What is your favorite part about Christmas? Seeing my family. Since I live several states away, it's the one time a year that I see most of them. I also like singing snippets of Christmas songs...fa la la la la, la la la la la!
Have you been in the holiday spirit or have you been a grinch? I think I've been fairly spirity. I love the holidays; the music, the lights, finding gifts for people, the food.
Do you ever buy for foster kids or families in need? I have but not this year.
Do you have any Christmas traditions? My family does secret Santa with extended relatives, and we always have a big family dinner. When I was a kid, dad would always take my sister and me out for Christmas Eve breakfast. I think I want to start doing that again, with H and my sister and her boyfriend, if he can come.
What is your favorite part about Christmas? All of the above mentioned: lights, food, finding gifts, music, time with family, time away from work.

I'd say somewhere in the middle, but favoring the 'holiday spirit' side.

Yes. Mostly the traditions are just when and where we have that particular Christmas.
What is your favorite part about Christmas? Family. I love spending time with my family... I do it often, but it's just a lot of fun at Christmas.

Do you ever buy for foster kids or families in need? We picked an angel from the Angel Tree. We did it last year too. We also give to Toys for Tots.
Do you have any Christmas traditions? H and I have bought an ornament for our tree the past two years. They are always cheesy couple ornaments. I love it though. We always got a new ornament for the tree every year when I was growing up. H never did that. He gets excited when we pick out a new ornament. H never had a stocking before we were together either. I love doing one for him every year.
What is your favorite part about Christmas? I love buying presents for other people whether it's family, Angel Tree, or whatever. I like trying to figure out what they will like and giving them something they need or really wanted.

Do you ever buy for foster kids or families in need? Our class at church adopted 2 families that we bought presents for. In the past we usually go to the Angel Tree and pick a kid to help out.
Do you have any Christmas traditions? Food plays a big part in our traditions. I always look forward to the red velvet cake my MIL makes every year. We also watch A Christmas Story every year. I don't think I've missed watching it one year.
What is your favorite part about Christmas? Being with family. I just love the feeling you get when you have put so much time on someone's present and their face lights up when they open it.
