How were those weekends????
Hope they were fantastic
I was on call this weekend so it wasnt that great. Got paged out Friday night to deal with a huge network issue, was able to finally go to sleep at like midnight, then up again at 7 to reconvene for the problem. Half my saturday was spent on stupid work.
Then i don't remember what i did for the rest of that day.
Sunday i worked for like 1/2 hour, then I cleaned, did laundry, did some grocery shopping and baked a batch of cookies. Still have TONS of cookies left to make!!!!

Boo for work!
Friday night was DH's first basketball game of the season so I went to that right after work. Then he had to go scout so I went with him. Then all the coaches went out afterwards for a beer.
Saturday I got up and went to spin class while DH was at basketball practice. Then we hung the ornaments on the tree. The rest of the day was spent running errands. After we got home we watched Love Actually and just layed around for the rest of the night.
Yesterday we went to go visit the triplets for the day! They are so freaking cute and have gotten so big now. They each have their own little personalities and are starting to talk/babble much more. Love them!!
That sounds nice, Lauren!!!
Your post made me remember that i REdecorated the tree (stupid cats kept knocking it all down before) and i decorated our mantle.
I also FINALLY met my niece through skype and she is so adorable and im so happy she is here. I cried when i saw her. I can't wait to hold her and kiss her and spoil her like an Aunt should

I saw your post on FB about seeing your neice. That's soooo awesome and I'm glad you were able to see her. Thank goodness for modern technology right?!
Does your sister plan to make a trip home with the baby any time soon?

Friday: I worked, it was a nice evening. I had already worked 40 hours so I left 20 minutes early. Went home and my husband and son were passed out on the couch. Got a call at midnight from my mom.
Saturday: My husband got called in to work on a boat. 8 hours he was gone.
I dropped the baby at the sitter and went to get my my nails done with my friend. That was nice. Then H and I went to longhorn ate dinner and had some drinks. Another couple bought us another round. We went and surprised a friend of ours with his christmas and birthday gift. Then went to pick the baby up. My son got his bath then threw up 4 times on us. poor thing.
Sunday: Cleaning, grocery shopping, cooking and laundry. H got called back into work for 2 hours. I figured out our Christmas menu. I'll be in the kitchen all day.
That's awesome you got to see her Kim! Hope she has a speedy recovery!
Hope everyone is finishing up with thier Christmas preparations!
Friday: Finished up most of our Christmas shopping (just one gift to go and it's just a matter of heading out to pick it up) and had a rare dinner out, using the last of our Applebee's giftcard wedding gift. I was also excited to pick up a Wii for my mom (not a gift, just doing her a favor) at Walmart for $200, plus an extra game, plus a $75 gift card. You can't beat that deal!
Saturday: Spent the morning cleaning and wrapping gifts. Last year we went cheap and bought the least expensive wrapping paper we could find but it is awful! It tears so easy and you can see right through it. It was such a pain to wrap gifts with it and I can not wait until it's all used up. Saturday evening we had a friend over to play games and have a nice dinner.
Sunday: Church in the morning, visited my parents in the afternoon, and It's a Wonderful Life in the evening. It was both DH's and my first time watching it and we loved it!

Kim, Congrats on your little neice! I too saw your facebook post about meeting her, that is so awesome
Feel everyone pain with the working... I worked Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night so it really wasn't much of a weekend for me unfortunately. I was only able to watch the 2nd and 3rd quarter of the Raven's game because I slept through the 1st and 4th
I've got so much to do today it's unreal... finishing shopping, cleaning, laundry and hopefully some wrapping... addressing the Christmas cards if they ever get here. I work Tuesday night, Wednesday night, Thursday night so it's really my last day/night to get stuff done other than Christmas Eve when I get off that morning.
Friday after work I finally saw Velvet. I let her run in the indoor arena- and she looked like the race horse she was bred to be! So many bucks! Haha Then grocery shopping with DH.
Saturday I really wanted to sleep in, but DH woke me up when he got home and I never got back to sleep. So I got up early instead
I had to return an item at one store- so I headed out. The Traffic. Was Terrible. I was meeting a friend at the mall to Christmas shop and it took me half an hour to go the mile-ish between the one store and the mall. And then the lines in the stores... But we got a lot done and had some fun, so it was worth it! Then DH and I went to a going away party for a friend who is moving to TX. It was the first time we had been out in a while, so it was fun.
Sunday was the Christmas service at church. Then while DH was sleeping, I went to my parent's. I wrapped presents while watching football and we made and decorated cookies for hours.
I'm still not done yet! I have 2 gifts to pick up and wrap and more cookies to bake! But, I am finally feeling more of the Christmas spirit, so I'm happy about it
