Anyone know this person?

Not the OP; the person referenced in the OP.

Also, doesn't someone here hate the word "stabby"?  More ammo* for your argument!

*Should I not say "ammo"?

Re: Anyone know this person?

  • I wonder why she pled guilty, and the knives only had her fingerprints on them.

But it was based ONLY ON STABBY.  ONLY THAT.

I don't recognize her, but my first thought was "I wonder if that's KineticWardrobe?"

  • Oh, I get it:  she said she stabbed him, but the stabby e-mail really put the case over the top.
  • I love the friend that brought the "FYI" to the boards...
FYI, a lot of the information in the paper is wrong. Um... well, except the part where she admitted doing it.
  • Lesson 1 should be DON'T STAB PEOPLE. If you're going to stab people, however, by all means, refrain from using words like "stabby."

  • Hmm, I wanna know who it is! And how "old school" she is.

I bet her FUPA's name is Shane, like the gunslinger/drifter of literature.--HappyTummy
  • If I'm not mixing her up with someone else with Drama in their name, DramaGeek (the OP) is pretty old skool.  I think she got married in 2002 or something like that.  So this person may be someone from her side board that was created before I even joined the Knot.

She's been on these boards for 8 years and is this naive?

I'm sorry wendy, but this is cracking me up.  Like this wedding board is so hardcore that it adequately prepares you for a friend attempting to murder her husband.  Even people in the 'cuse are scared of knotties.

But I do get what you're saying.  People aren't always who they present on here.

  • Yeah, I'm not sure how being on the Knot for years is going to somehow lose her naivete.  The articles do make things sound pretty obvious that she's guilty (and not just pleading guilty in order to get a reduced sentence), but they also said Columbine was the result of a couple of outcasts lashing out at jocks for bullying them.

  • Isn't Drama the one we helped with planning a wedding in two weeks for her SIL? I can see her really being that naive/hopeful.

Sometimes I wonder if scientists have never seen a sci-fi movie before. "Oh yes, let's create a super species of deer. NOTHING COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG." I wonder if State Farm offers a Zombie Deer Attack policy. -CaliopeSpidrman
  • Can't the CSI people tell if she stabbed herself by the direction of the wounds?

I'm pretty sure you know this isn't what I meant.

I meant, how do you spend 8 years around here without realizing that some people are LLPOF and/or BSC.  Also, if she's been married for 8 years, it's not like she's a dumb teenager or something.

  • You know how some people are sweet in a way that they assume everyone else is just as sweet? I only met her twice, but she gives off that vibe.

I'm not saying Stabby McBloodison is innocent, but I don't think it's entirely unreasonable to see how someone who had been victimized could snap and not having money for a good defense, cop a plea. Not saying that happened, but I don't think believing that from a friend is unreasonably naive.

Um, yes, I did.  Hence my second sentence that you just paraphrased to argue with me?

I just laughed at the sentence.  These streets are mean!

J&J, the article I read said that forensics proved that she stabbed him and her wounds were self inflicted.  But that may be what OP says is wrong in the articles.

Ok, I think that must have come across wrong, because I'm really not trying to pick a fight with you.  "I'm pretty sure you know this isn't what I meant" was intended to be an assertion plus a clarification, not sarcastic.
