Clothing Donation Location?
Anyone know of a Clothing Donation place? I have bags upon bags of clothing that I need to get rid of. Mostly men's clothing (due to DH's weight loss).
Originally, I was going to try to recoup some of the money by selling it on ebay, but it's just going to be too much work and not worth the effort. I don't really want to do goodwill or a place like that if I can help it. Some of the clothes (some suits, and some practically new items from his 'in between' stages) are nice and practically new.
I am thinking of one of those places that help low income folks dress for jobs, etc, etc. I'm especially thinking some of his suits would be perfect for interviews.
Do you know of a place like that anywhere in the area between Walnut Creek up to Fairfield?

it looks like SJ and SF are the closest to you.
What about a consignment shop? If you don't want to deal with ebay, this might be a good option... I believe they take a portion of the proceeds but it'll save you on time.
Otherwise, I'd recommend Dress for Success as well.
I think there might be a metal donation box in the Sports Basement parking lot in Walnut Creek (I've seen various metal donation stations that you just drop the clothes into around Contra Costa County). If not there, what about donating it to Thrift Town, or one of the non-profit charities that Thrift Town has as a charity partnership with?:

I know it isn't in the area you mentioned but there is a place in Newark called Viola Blythe that takes in all kinds of donations and redistributes it back to the community for free. I take a lot of Sara's old toys and clothes there.
