2 things I want to share with you
1. my dog hides when it's time for me to leave in the morning because I have to put him in his crate (he's only in there for 3.5 hours, otherwise he'd go through a window to get at the squirrels and/or cats. don't judge me). Today he didn't do such a good job.

B. I have a date for my surgery, Jan. 19. I'm super excited/scared.

1. Hilarious! And I like your sheets. They go nicely with dog butt.
B. How exciting! That's so soon! Do you get to eat all the yummy holiday foods or are you stuck on the liquid diet until your surgery?

Some day your dog is commission someone to make stuffed rear ends and hind legs to place under all your furniture, so you won't know where he's really hiding.
Congratulations on the surgery date!
1. Love.
2. Good luck!
Oooh, good luck! How exciting!
And I want your doggie, please.
I bet her FUPA's name is Shane, like the gunslinger/drifter of literature.--HappyTummy
1. That's the best picture I've seen all day.
2. Good luck!! Here's to no liquid diet beforehand, and an easy recovery afterward.
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD

1. Dogs are silly. Mabel 'hides' like this too.
2. Congratulations!!
I wasn't sure if I should PM you this or post it but here it is
One of my sisters had this surgery (band, bypass, removed most of stomach) in 2007. She lost 100 pounds before her one year anniversary. The only problem she had was failure to keep well hydrated after but as soon as that was back on track, she was thrilled with the results.
I wish she was on the Massachusetts side of the family so I could put you in touch with her but she's in D.C. The one I was visiting when EAB stood me up
If you ever want to discuss anything post surgery, let me know and I will put you in touch with her. (she's one of the sane people in the family)
Good luck!
ha! your dog sucks at hiding. love it.
hooray for surgery date! you'll be fine.
