Morning everyone! So everyone at work has caught something from a kid, vacation, whatever and I'm like please don't let me get sick. Of course this morning I woke up with a slight tickle in my throat, ugh! Then I burned the crap out of my mouth on hot tea. One lady is out so hopefully I can fight this. I've got clementines for snack.

Morning!! Dh's surprise Christmas present is today! (Tickets to A Christmas Carol, at Fords Theater). He has NO idea, which is amazing considering I suck at keeping secrets. All he knows is we have to be somewhere in DC by 2, because it starts at 2:30. He's sleeping until then, he worked last night, and as soon as it's over we're coming home and he's going back to work. But at least we're both off the rest of the week starting tomorrow, his birthday!

I'm working late today (6) then when I get home dh and I are going to go driving around looking at Christmas lights in some of the fancy shmancy neighborhoods.

Fun we are doing this the day after christmas. But we usually go before xmas, this year it just isn't going to work. I still remember as a kid, piling into my cousin's station wagon all bundled up going to drive by christmas lights!
