Come in Santa!!
I had such a shitty day at work today, and ended up leaving a little early because I just couldn't take it anymore. Stopped at the liquor store on my way home for some desperately needed wine, and when I arrived home what did I see on my doorstep but a package from Santa!
I was instantly in a good mood - I took the box inside and put it in the living room. Then I got into my pj's and robe, turned on my favorite Christmas album, turned on all the Christmas lights, curled up on my favorite chair and opened my gift.
Santa you are AWESOME!! Inside was a super cute snowman ornament (which of course I put right on the tree) and the Northanger Abbey dvd!! WOOHOO! I love me some Jane Austen and I'm sure I will watch it over and over.
Now, I have just enough time to watch part of my new DVD and have a nice glass of wine before starting on dinner.
