I have a FFC...
Since, I can't really tell anyone IRL, you guys get to hear it.
After much discussion, and realizing if we wait for the right time, we're never going to be ready. Between jobs, money, and time we just decided to bite the bullet and "pull the goalie".
But given my age, wonky cycles and the fact we see each other about 30 minutes a day, this may take awhile, but it's a start, full blown TTC is still going to be a ways off.

As for me, I love this job, I wasn't kidding, everything about it. And I'm psyched to be handling my first solo civil trial on January 3. But the chick's got verbal threshold (in NJ that's an insurance option she chose that makes it harder for her to recover damages - she has to have fairly severe, permanent injuries), and I'm worried I'm going to lose. Plus, it's Bergen County which is my home county, but really unfavorable to plaintiffs. I'm kinda scared.

Congrats! That's exciting!
Mine is along the lines of TTC: I want more than two kids. I want three. And I want JJ to have a sibling sometime in 2011, but planning that is ridiculously hard. I'm a little nervous talking to H about having more kids than just two because he's been pretty adamant about only having two. I wish the cards would fall right where we had a chance to have a baby next year, because baby fever's hit hard now that JJ's getting older.
Something not along the lines of TTC: I ate a dozen buffalo wings at dinner - and would've ordered six more if I wasn't so tired and ready to go home. AF visiting during the holidays turns me into a fat pig. It's horrible.
That's exciting, three kids is a great size family.

My FFC - H and I haven't had sexy time in probably a month
. It's just so awkward and uncomfortable for me and he admitted that it freaks him out now with him being so big and "there". I do try to "service" him on a more regular basis, but even that has slowed down lately. I feel so bad for him!!

Speaking as the oldest of three children, don't have three. Have two, or have four, but three is just asking for trouble. One will almost always be ganged up on by the other two (the one is subject to change hourly). I've never seen a family with an uneven number of children where this doesn't happen ...
My FFC ... I'm working on my dad's quilt. Still. I only tonight started to quilt it. I have to have it finished - including washed and dried - by 10 am Friday morning, because that's when we leave to go do Christmas with my family (we've always been a Christmas Eve family). Worst part is, I don't actually FEEL like quilting right now. It's PMS week and I just want to lay on the couch and watch old movies.
I still need to get my brother & his wife a gift card. For groceries. Because that's what they asked for - they are buying a house (her parents are putting a down payment on it) but they can't afford to feed their kids. And she's pregnant. Again. Due any day. I wish my brother would just ... grow up.
Last one for today. I don't think I've mentioned this here, but my brother knows a guy who was recently arrested on child porn charges. He left behind three computers when he moved and the landlord found something like 10,000 images on children in various states of undress and compromising positions on them. When he was arrested (at the post office where he works), he had an iPod with like 65 images on it of children. My kids were around this guy. My brother's kids were around him. And I always thought something was ... off. He would buy really expensive gifts for my brother's kids ... like XBox and crap. And I questioned it once and my brother blew it off as just a lonely man with no family. Thing is, I KNEW better ... apparently though, my brother did too ... I found out after all this happened that he threw this guy out of his house for inappropriate remarks he made about the iCarly actress being "hot". When my brother said, She's just a kid, this "friend" responded, I don't care how old she is, she's still hot.
I am aghast at all of this, but still a bit ... umm ... fascinated that he associated with us all for so long, undetected. I mean, why didn't any of us notice this? And I am fascinated not by what he did (I find that repulsive), but how he can justify it to himself. I guess it's the "criminal mind" that I'm so interested in ... not exactly what he did, but the whys and wherefores of it ...
When my brother found out he had been arrested, a mutual friend called to find out why, and the cops wouldn't tell him. So he told them that he was trying to arrange bail and needed to know the charges for the bondsman. When told what the charges were, the guy said, So are you still bailing him out? The MF said, HELL NO! Let the b@stard rot!
I'm still laughing at that one ...

This morning there's an update saying that Quintero drove straight to Miami & fled to Peru. I have no idea whether Peru extradites.
Cankurt worked at a gas station my parents go to, with his family members. One of his family members actually told my parents about this, and my mom gave him my number. They were planning to meet with me, but it never happened. It looks like he might have the public defender and be cooperating with police. But I could've been representing this guy.
I'd rather be representing the little girl, but she's got the prosecutor for that.
My confession: I'd have taken the case. I'd have hated it, but I'd have taken it.

just wanted to say three is a great number for kids. my parents have three. i'm in the middle. and we're all just fine.
i know plenty of families of 5 who haven't had any problems! 
I'm also the middle of three! I love having one brother and one sister.
My mom is the middle of three too. They've had their issues, but it's all good now. And hell, I'm one of two and while we're best friends now, we had our issues as kids too. No better or worse than my mom's situation, really.
Oh, and my dad's one of 5. No problems there that you wouldn't see in any other family, and really nothing to do with even or odd.
