Today is my last full day of work. Tomorrow we have a Christmas lunch and everyone brings in baked goods, so not a lot of work gets done. Unfortunately, I have a lot to get done before then, so today I will be busy!
Derek finished the flooring in the back room last night, so tonight I might actually be putting up the Christmas tree. It almost feels like a waste of time to only have it up for, at most, a week, but what's Christmas without a tree?
How is everyone today?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Good Morning!
So glad to hear that your floor is done. I bet it looks beautiful.
Today is a busy day for me as well. I am leaving work early because I hate driving in the snow ever since I hit a tree a few years ago. We are supposed to get about 5 inches, and if the evening commute is anything like it was the other day, I don't want to be in it. It took people 2 hours to go a mile. We live in Maine, we get snow, the first storm shouldn't throw people off guard that much.
On the brighter side, tomorrow is my last day of work before my vacation. I so can't wait! I am in major need of a break from this place.
I have a busy morning at work, so I won't be on much. Have a great day ladies.
Woo hoo for finishing the floor. I say go for it with the tree.
Today is fake Friday. I also have a ton to get done today before I head home.
We have an u/s in the morning and I'll take any and all good thoughts etc. that we get good news. We are flying to Georgia in the afternoon to spend the holiday with my Mom and sister and I can't wait to see them both. If everything goes well in the morning, I'll tell my Mom when we get home. My sister already knows, but thought it would be best, considering Mom's personality and condition, that we told her in person.

Good luck today Rebann. We will all be thinking of you!
Today's my last day at work as well, and we just got back from a pretty booooozy lunch, so the next few hours should go pretty quickly. Weather permitting (please send good vibes), we will be heading out tomorrow for Israel and Jordan for the holidays. We'll be doing gift exchange tonight, so we don't have to bring it all with us, and we have to pack for the trip, so still a lot to get done.
Reba - sending you tons of vibes that everything looks good and you can share the news with your mom.

Good morning, ladies.
Christmas is starting to feel more like a deadline than a holiday. I really need to finish all the baking and shipping today so I can enjoy the weekend. I love Christmas, and I'm ready for it to be here already, since the preparation can get tedious.
T&P to you Reba on good results at your u/s.
And I need to make an appt for my dog at the vet - she just turned 3 but is showing major hip dysplasia symptoms. Poor puppy.
Have a great day, everyone!
reba - Good luck today!
raynes - congrats and I vote yes for the tree.
Today will be a lazy, get stuff done around the house day for me.

Good morning ladies!
Reba, sending T&P your way.
I'm feeling a little slow today. I think I might have caught Kyle's cold. At least I only have 2 more days of work before break. And, it sounds like there won't be many people in the office tomorrow, so I should be able to sneak out a little early.
Tonight, I need to tackle the wrapping that I still didn't start last night
. And I think we're having a few friends over to watch a basketball game. It should be a busy night.
I came into work this morning... just wanted to do a few things, but I think I'll prob leave in a bit. WFH the rest of the day.
Bahamas trip will be booked by the end of the day
Good Luck, Reba!
(and Kari and Ringy, I'm sorry for your recent losses. I'm sorry I never had a chance to respond to your threads in the past few days.)

reba, good luck tomorrow! What time is your appointment at? I need to know when to send the vibes to your ute.
I should note that finishing the back room/library is only about 1/3 of the flooring that needs to be laid. And before he can do the rest, Derek has to do more demo. Though, we should be able to get nicely settled in the back room now, so that's good.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Good luck getting out of town. I heard on NPR this morning that Heathrow should have full service back tomorrow.

This.
Erinn: yay for a trip to the Bahamas.
And today I am picking up my big sister from the airport and we will then make cookies and drink Armenian vodka and sing loudly and possibly badly to old German techno songs like this one.
Good morning ladies.
Reba - You're in my thoughts this morning. Sending vibes for a good u/s today.
I'm at work all day today. I'm meeting a friend for lunch and that's about it. It's pouring rain again and I hate driving in this weather. I hope to leave early to avoid some of the traffic. Have a great day ladies!
9:30 a.m. I'll let you guys know either way before we head home.

Today was okay. I had a shift at the smaller, out of town hospital and since DH is on Christmas break, I had to drive in on my own. Not a very eventful day.
reba - I will focus all my powers on your uterus at 9:30am
