What's the worst

Re: What's the worst

  • Lyle Lovett cassette tape in 2008.  I do not own a tape player nor do I like music anywhere similar to Lyle.  Thanks, Dad!

  • edible oil from BIL.... it was creepy and not appropriate, plus DH stuck it in a drawer (instead of throwing it away like I suggested!) and it leaked everywhere! To this day his dresser's top drawer smells like spicy cherries.
  • Its a toss up between a Hoover floor mate or a desktop water fall thingie (since i cant stand the sound of running water). Ah yes, I will be glad to not be getting cleaning supplies from H this year.

    That is too funny!

Probably the vase that a coworker bought for someone who she thought was her secret santa but wasn't (because I was) and regifted to me right there.  1. You need to learn how to read. 2. After you just got done telling her you thought it was perfect for her as soon as you saw it, you turned to me and told me the same thing.  3.  What were you thinking?

Obviously our office manager went out and bought me something.  I told her she didn't have to.

Aw, I think that's sweet :) I would probably just pin it up on my bulletin board or something, haha.

  • the worst?  I would have to think about that.  But I did get a really bad one today.  However it was from a kid, and I get so nervous that someone IRL (like a parent) will see what I post on here, so I don't want to say what it was.  It involved sweet-and-low and tissues.  Use your imaginations :)

  • Gosh, it would probably have to be this shirt my dad got me one year.  First, it must be noted that my dad used to only shop at Bealls at Christmas time b/c of their free gift wrapping.  A man with his lack of fashion sense should have given up pretty quickly on buying clothes for his wife and daughters, but he never did.

That particular year, I was 14 or so I think and was about 5' and 90 lbs.  He bought me this size medium shirt from the "Women's" department.  It was made of white t-shirt material, but buttoned up the front and had the hugest shoulder pads I have ever seen.  The design on the front was a completely sequined rendering of panda bears and bamboo.  My sister got the coordinating black shirt with the giraffes.  I really wish we had taken pictures of them before we took them back and exchanged them.
