T's & P's needed

My grandfather wass brought to the hospital last night. This doesn't usually worry me too much since it happens so frequently because of his cancer, but I think it's different this time. We found out a week ago that he has Shingles and he has been delusional and confused lately (which is so not like him-he is very intellectual and has always had his mind even when really sick). My aunt has had a call into his doctor for days now because we are assuming this delusion thing is a side effect of the Shingles meds (it is listed as one), but the doctor has never gotten back to anyone. It was so bad last night that my aunts took him to the ER and they are thinking that the Shingles might have gone to his brain. We'll know more after the MRI & Spinal.

His cancer count was so good last week that the doctor didn't think he needed more Chemo. Go figure that he could do so well with cancer and something like this happens.

I'm supposed to be away for Christmas and now I feel just awful leaving.

If you could spare some thoughts, prayers, vibes, etc. I would appreciate it :)
