I deeeed it

I made it out alive with 2 kids in an overpacked waiting room running 45 minutes behind during naptime and bleeding over into feeding time for the other all the while walking barefoot up hill both ways in the snow.

See?
Snow.
And my three-legged dog.

  • You are one brave woman.  And you have a lovely backyard.

  • The size of your yard makes me want to cry.

Congratulations on your first successful outing with two kids!  Someone should send you baby cakes to help you celebrate this deed.

  • I'm exhausted a d stressed just thinking about it!

  • Congrats!

What is that on the ground behind Kenz? My first thought was that she had left her leg there. Then, I realized how silly that was.

  • I can't even imagine all that.  You deserve a drink.

    Is it snowing right now?

  • It's her wooden peg leg, matey. Arrggghhh

No, it's actually a split piece of firewood. My dog isn't content with chewing on just sticks anymore. The amputation has left her feeling the need to proove herself. She carries that thing around and gnaws on it. It's her 7th one, or so...  If we take it away from her she just hops on over to the wood pile and grabs another. She's part beaver now.

  • OOh, you don't have any on the ground! We got maybe 2 inches on Monday.

Good for you! I'm glad you all survived!

  • Kay, yeah. It's snowing pretty hard here actually. I just turned around and the grass is almost covered since taking that last picture.

  • Bethie, we had about and inch or 2 from Monday night. My backyard gets all day direct sunlight so most of it melted yesterday. The front yard still looks a little snowy.

Is it snowing where you guys are?

  • Yup! The snowflakes are HUGE!

  • I'm so insanely jealous of your big backyard.  So many of the houses we are looking at are on less than a 1/4 acre.

  • It's almost impossible to find a house on a lot bigger than 0.11 acre here.  Unless you want to live in the boonies.

  • I do live in the boonies.... :(
  • It just started snowing here in the last 15 minutes.  Hoo-ray.
  • That snow is so pretty. I'm glad you got through it all and home before it!

We grew up with a big yard (and a golden retriever) and it was awesome. And now that house is in foreclosure, and for sale for just $10k more than what we paid for our house which is half the size and on a postage stamp lot. Blargh.

  • Hooray! Congrats! And look at your adorable 3-legged snowpup.

    It's coming down hard here.

  • I have no snow.  Is this because my dog has 4 legs?

  • I have way more snow than I thought I did. I just looked out the window and I was shocked by how much was out there!
