So we got our discs with our pics on Sunday, and for the past two days I've been trying to figure out what to order on Snapfish.com

How the heck did you decide what to order and what size?!?!? I know I want a big one for over the fireplace and big one for the bedroom (maybe), but their are so many great ones that I can't decide!

I might just play eeny, meeny, miny, moe!

Thoughts, advice, comments?

I did get my digital proofs, but I haven't gotten the raw files yet. No idea what I'm going to do with them after that.

Did your photog make a selection of ones he/she likes?

I have 3 DVD's full of pictures, 800 images (300 something of these are edited). I'm still at a loss since we have a nice 8x10 frame but no pic yet. My inlaws gave us an engraved album with some pics in them for Christmas and I couldn't be happier. Just need to get the rest of the photos and enlargements. I'll probably order from Sam's club since the price is way cheaper than shutterfly or snapfish on prints.

My photographer cherrypicked about 25 of her favorites, and we ended up printing a lot of those.

I have yet to print all the wedding photos I want, but when we were picking e-pics, this is what DH and I did:

We sat and went thru all 1400 of them and put them into three categories: like, love, and MUST HAVE. Then we walked away from them. A couple of days later, we went thru the love and must haves and rearranged again. Out of what was left is what we used in our slideshow, reception frames, etc. Hope that helps and good luck!

We've had ours since October and just in the last couple of weeks ordered prints, mainly for family as Christmas gifts. Picking out the larger ones are the hardest I think. What we did was bought a collage frame that holds 8 4x6's. We narrowed down which ones we wanted to put in that one (pics of just us, no family or bridal party pics, those will go in another frame.). Once we put our absolute favs in that, we picked another one for the large picture. I've been changing my picture on FB every week or so also, and that helped me when picking out my favorites. Just because my default has been a lot of my favorite pictures anyway. I suggest sitting on it for a few months. I was so overwhelmed when we first got them back I don't know if I would have chosen the same way or not.

Our photog package included an 11"x14" enlargement of her choice, so we have that one. I picked about 10 of the 4x6's she printed for a set of collage type frames we got (not that they're hung on the wall yet) but other than what 4x6's she printed (about 300) I haven't done any other printing myself yet for anything. H is getting impatient for the ones he wants to take to work. I need to get on top of that after the holidays.

As for other prints, I'm not sure I'm going to order any. I've made a photobook for my mom and my godmother so far. I'd probably use the same one for H's parents. I think for us I'm just going to shell out the $150ish or so its probably going to cost me to make a photobook with all 600something photos we got back.

We have 738, and am at a loss as well. I think I have to just take time going through them and sorting them into really small groups and making sure I get the best of each little group. I just haven't had the three days to do that.
