Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Yall, I was having a discussion today with a friend and I brought up my MIL getting a new apartment soon. Except when I brought it up, I didn't say her name or say "my mother-in-law", I actually said "My MIL" like, mill. My friend looked at me like I was a nut case.

I've definitely used "DH" in a sentence, not one in which I was speaking to him, either. AS in "my DH and I..."
I have done that before too.
The other night 3 of my friends came over. Two of them are on the nest and the bump and we kept using the acronyms and the other friend was silent for a few minutes and stared at us like we were crazy until she finally spoke up and asked us what the heck we were talking about.
